Dry your own meat using a PC monitor

There are many uses for an old PC monitor – footstool, coffee table, PC monitor – but this is one of the odder ways to recycle that now nearly obsolete bit of kit.

Designed to dry out beef and produce a South African delicacy called biltong (which looks as if it will taste like rubber, and, surprisingly, does).
